Carmellia Indira Reyes
Studio Chilimarini is a Melbourne-based design studio started in 2020 by Carmellia. She began her formal education to become a graphic designer but finished school with a degree in interior design instead. Colour blocking, contrasting colours, and bold shapes heavily characterise her designs. When she first started Studio Chilimarini, her focus was mainly on textile goods, but she’s slowly grown her collection to include a wide range of products using different materials. Carmel has been particularly interested in using resin as a medium to craft non-fabric-based homewares while exploring colour and luminosity.
